Afternoon Cruise and Southern-Style Pig Roast on Carnegie Lake - 6/20/15
Back by popular demand, come enjoy the 3rd annual PCS Pig Roast for the entire family taking place on Saturday (4-8pm), June 20th while exploring the wildlife in and around Carnegie Lake. Since luxury yachts are not permitted on the lake, you will depart by canoe, kayak, or crew shell from the home of Michael Zammit and Helena May. Paddle to the Princeton Boathouse, race to the finish line, and view the abundant wildlife - you may even glimpse an American Bald Eagle. Return to your port of call to feast on the Hare family's traditional Southern-Style Pig Roast BBQ with an assortment of side dishes, desserts, beer, wine, and soft drinks. The menu will include plenty of delicious vegetarian and non-pork entrees as well. Volleyball, frisbee, and other games will be on hand for the land lovers. And to finish the evening, a bonfire and toasted marshmallows, of course! Seafaring craft to be provided, but feel free to bring your own boat!

Chinese Buffet Homestyle - 6/6/15

Five kids from any grade and their families are invited to participate in a truly unique culinary evening on Saturday, June 13th from 4-8pm. Kids will enjoy a two hour, hands-on lesson with a professional chef and instructor. Then, their families join in the dining experience, which starts at 6pm. The meal will include wine, beer and cocktails made with local ingredients.

Bonfire, Casual Fun at the Bogles - 5/8/15

Gather the whole family for a casual Friday evening overlooking the Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve on May 8th at 6:30pm.  Close your eyes and pretend you are on vacation with a Bonfire, yummy casual food, s'mores and your favorite Charter School families.  The kids will explore the Bogle's wooded property to find a pond, tree house, tetherball, trampoline and friendly game of manhunt.  Parents can join their kids or fire gaze as they watch from the top of the hill.

The Burt Ultimate Scavenger Hunt - 1st. Session 5/2/15
How well do you really know Princeton? Do you have agility and sharp eyes and work well in a team? Meet Mr. Burt on Saturday, May 2nd in the plaza outside the Princeton Public Library to participate in this year's ultimate scavenger hunt in downtown Princeton. Due to popular demand, we are offering two scavenger hunt competitions this year, each with four competing teams. Here's how it works: recruit your team of 2-3 adults and up to 6 kids. Your team's mission is to find 27 interesting but not easily noticed features in the environment using a clue book of photos and a map. Document your finds with a photo and the first team to finish wins a prize. For all of you overachievers out there, there will be extra team points for those who can spot the difficult doozies. Scavenger Hunt 1 starts at 10am and finishes at 12pm. All participants will receive a small treat. In addition, the winning team in each contest will bask in the glory of victory and receive a bigger treat.

Art (History) Lovers Dinner Party at the Institute for Advanced Study - 4/17/15
Four guests will enjoy a gourmet five-course dinner hosted by Suzanne Christen and Scott Park at the dinning hall of the Institute for Advanced Study with special guests, the Professors Lavin & Lavin. Irving Lavin (IAS Professor of Art History emeritus and one of America's most distinguished art historians, who has written extensively on the history of art from late antiquity to modern times) and Marylin Aronberg Lavin (Professor or Art History, has taught at Princeton University, Yale University, and the University of Maryland. She is author of Piero della Francesca: The Flagellation.) The dinner party is on Friday, April 17th at 7pm.
