Forest Therapy is a gentle practice that involves moving very slowly and mindfully through nature, soaking it in with all of our senses.
It is a relaxing experience that connects people to natural environments through sensory-based invitations.
It is not hiking in the traditional sense. A walk lasts 2 ½ hours and ends with a tea ceremony.
Sharon Lohse is a registered Forest Therapy guide and horticultural therapist who leads walks at Bowman’s Wildflower preserve,
Bucks County Audubon and Glen Foerd on the Delaware every month starting in April.
