6-8th Grade Take a Risk with Mr. Schlawin - 4/22/16
Exercise your inner desire for world domination.  Participants get to play Risk in one of PCS’s oldest traditions, the Friday Night Risk Game run by Mr. Schlawin.  Instruction provided for novices. Snacks (both healthy and not) provided.  Students 6th grade and up are welcome.  A special invitation to those young ladies ready to show that they are ready to conquer and rule the world! 7PM to 10PM on Friday, April 22nd in the Charter Room.
Afternoon Cruise and Southern-Style Pig Roast on Carnegie Lake - 6/18/16
Back by popular demand, come enjoy the 4th annual PCS Pig Roast for the entire family taking place on Saturday, June 18th (4-8pm), while exploring the wildlife in and around Carnegie Lake. Since luxury yachts are not permitted on the lake, you will depart by canoe, kayak, or crew shell from the home of Michael Zammit and Helena May. Paddle to the Princeton Boathouse, race to the finish line, and view the abundant wildlife - you may even glimpse an American Bald Eagle. Return to your port of call to feast on the Hare family's traditional Southern-Style Pig Roast BBQ with an assortment of side dishes, desserts, beer, wine, and soft drinks. The menu will include plenty of delicious vegetarian and non-pork entrees as well. Volleyball, frisbee, and other games will be on hand for the land lovers. And to finish the evening, a bonfire and toasted marshmallows, of course! Seafaring craft to be provided, but feel free to bring your own boat!

Modern Middle Eastern Dinner - 6/11/16
Have you ever imagined the colors and aromas of a spice bazaar? Well, now you can enjoy the exotic flavors of the Middle East in a meal prepared by PCS parent and owner of Tina Cucina Custom Catering at her home. Bold traditional flavors meet clean, modern presentation. Enjoy passed hors d'oeuvres while you sip wine under the stars. Enjoy your next two courses at an outdoor dining table, surrounded by romantic lighting and a beautiful backyard. Most dietary restrictions can be accommodated with prior notice. This dinner will take place on Saturday, June 11th at 7pm.

Soirée à Paris - 5/7/16
Rush and sign up for a fabulous French traditional dinner with tasty and filling regional specialties prepared by Catherine Marsh-Bourdon. On Saturday, May 7th at 7:30pm reward your palate and experience Paris in Princeton for a degustation of French specialties and wines to match.

A Night in Cairo - 4/30/16
Enjoy traditional Egyptian Mezza followed by a full course meal. The Mahana's will open up their home on Saturday, April 30th at 7pm for 24 people. The colorful foods, aromas and rhythms of Arabic music will transport you to the land of the pyramids. Customary beverages will be served with the meal, making this a truly authentic experience! (There will be no alcohol served in adherence to tradition.)

Crossing the Channel - 5/14/16
On Saturday, May 14th at 7:30pm six guests are invited to Cross the Channel to discover British modern cuisine from Chef Chris Marsh-Bourdon with his favorite wine pairings. Expect lots of flavors, solid dishes and specialties mixing Mediterranean and traditional English, all in the Jamie Oliver (famous English chef) style.

Paella Making Class - 5/21/16
Have you ever tasted "a paella" before? Now is your opportunity to learn how to make one and enjoy it with good wine. Paella is a saffron-flavored Spanish dish made with a varied combination of rice, vegetable, meat and seafood. Join Alicia and Anna, both from Barcelona, who will show you how to make this delicious and pretty meal to impress guests at home. Some Catalan appetizers will be served as well, while the rice finishes. For dessert expect a sumptuous Spanish flan. Come, learn and enjoy! Mark your calendar for Saturday, May 21st from 6:30-9:30pm.

Texas Hold'em - 4/16/16
No limit Texas Hold'Em Poker is back! Sorry ladies, this event is strictly for 15 lucky guys. Join this year's master of ceremonies, David Chung, and place your bets on a night that is sure to be over the top. Pizza, snacks and beer will be provided, along with prizes for the top winners. The top two winners will get their names immortalized on the PCS Texas Hold'Em Tournament Championship plaque that will be the envy of all players. The festivities will be on Saturday, April 16th, with dinner at 6pm and the first deal at 7pm sharp. Shuffle up and deal!

Ladies Only! Wine Tasting and Socializing - 4/23/16
Please join us for our 6th annual Ladies Only wine tasting! This year we will be taking a trip around the world, tasting different varietals of wine from Australia, France, Spain and the United States. You will be able to try some unique wines, beyond the well known Chardonnays and Merlots. We've been doing extensive research this year, so we do hope you can join us. Delectable hors d'oeuvres will be served along with the wine. It promises to be a fun and relaxed evening with other PCS moms. Starts at 7pm on Saturday, April 23rd, at the King house.

Swing Dance Lesson - 4/16/16
You will see PCS parents and experienced dancers Laura Landweber and Steve Gubser swing dancing at the Gala! On Saturday, April 16th from 3-4:30pm, they will open up their home and will teach you the basics of east coast swing, Lindy Hop, or collegiate shag, depending on your background and interest, in a semi-private setting. No experience necessary, just a love of dancing and '40s era music. Please sign up with a dance partner. Wear comfortable shoes, suede sole or low-heel dancing shoes preferred, and nonrestrictive clothing. Snacks will be provided.
